Yeah, points taken, sorry folks - for me to basically say "everyone on this forum sucks" is a complete lie, because the people I know who use this forum I pretty much all like, and the only people I feel I dislike are the people I don't actually know and who I'm judging solely on the basis of their internet posts and not on their actual personality, etc.
My post was a piece of spur-of-the-moment melodrama and nothing more - just one of those Crazy John moments we all have from time to time
And thanks for the useful summary Miss Boo, I'll attempt to keep those words in mind at uni, though I fear I'm already doomed to my role as the weird scowling one before I even get there
And going back to Ed's original talk of cool, we all know that the definition of that word is quite simply the Fonz and nothing more
